As the coronoavirus situation does not settle down as fast as we hope, we would like to make several announcements about the INFER events.

  • In light of recent events with the Covid-19 pandemic, we decided to move the INFER Annual Conference (Paris, 2020) to a three-day slot in the period October 15 – December 15, 2020. INFER and the Local Organizing Committee are working together to set the new dates of the conference that will be hosted by the University Sorbonne Paris Nord – Campus Condorcet. We will send you an update soon. Please note that the Scientific Committee will review the submitted papers and the authors will be informed about the outcome of the referee process in April.
  • We also decided to postpone the INFER Workshop “International Capital Flows and Foreign Direct Investments in Developed and Developing Countries” (Cairo, Egypt),initially scheduled on 4-5 April. The new dates are 23-24 September 2020. More information about the event will be available soon. A reimbursement policy is set for all the registered participants who cannot attend the workshop at the new dates
  • As already announced, the new dates of the 6th HenU/INFER Workshop on Applied Macroeconomics (Kaifeng, China) are 10-12 October, 2020. Submission is open again for this event. There are no registration fees.
  • We also rescheduled the 2nd International Conference on “Environmental Economics: A Focus on Natural Resources” to the following dates: 19-20 November 2020. This is an INFER Supported Event that will take place at the University of Orléans – LEO CNRS  (Orléans, France). Submission is open again (new submission deadline: September 15, 2020). There are no registration fees.

Please also note that the INFER supported event, FIBA2020 & EWG conference, that was originally scheduled on 26-29 March 2020 at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (Romania) has been cancelled.
