Dear INFER members,
The 21st INFER Annual Conference will take place on June 5-7, 2019 at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), Belgium. We are extremely happy to welcome Jyrki Katainen (European Commission Vice-President), Barbara Rossi (University of Pompeu Fabra) and Hillel Rapoport (Paris School of Economics) as keynote speakers at this year conference.
I would like to give a special thank you to the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and to the local organizers (to Helena Sanz-Morales and Peter Claeys, in particular) who have worked tirelessly on this conference.
Please note that the INFER General Meeting 2019 will take place during the Annual Conference, namely on Friday – June 7, from 10h00 till 11h00 (Room D.0.02, Vrije Universiteit Brussel).

The General Meeting is an excellent opportunity to discuss any issue related to INFER. For example, proposals to change INFER location from Speyer to Cologne will be discussed. Moreover, different options for changing the INFER membership will also be put forward.
During the General Meeting we will also vote to relieve the current INFER board and to appoint a new INFER board. All INFER members are entitled to vote: in case you’re unable to attend the General Meeting, you can transfer your vote in writing to another INFER member.
