The aim is to exchange ideas of the state of the art for new research results, perspectives of upcoming progress, and novel applications relevant for banking markets and finance. Researchers are invited to submit both empirical and theoretical papers that are broadly consistent with the conference’s special topics, but not limited to them: Banking, Financial markets and institutions, Derivatives and risk management, Investments, Behavioral finance, Corporate finance, Insurance, Operational research in finance, Public finance and macroeconomic stability, Monetary policy and financial stability, Quantitative finance and financial mathematics.
Attending at this conference is free of charge, providing equal opportunity to debate, share scientific research results, and benefit from a constructive feedback of discussants and participants.
Regular parallel sessions will be organized with the presentation of referred papers followed by a discussant presentation. The discussant assignments will be made by the conference organizers which will send the paper to the discussant. A maximum two papers for each participant are allowed.
Best PhD paper award (500 Euros) will be assigned in line with the tradition of the International Conference on Finance and Banking FI BA 2023. The awarding ceremony will take place during the event. The candidate(s) must be registered for the conference FI BA 2023 at the time of submission of the paper. He/she (or they) cannot hold a Ph.D. at the time of submission of the paper. Papers can only be authored by one Ph.D. student.
During the FIBA 2023 Conference, we organize an INFER Special Session on Macroeconomic Policy in Times of Polycrisis. The special session welcomes both empirical and theoretical papers that are broadly consistent with its topic but are not limited to it. Specific topics may include the following: fiscal policy, conventional and unconventional monetary policy, macroprudential policy, financial stability, energy poverty, climate change and climate finance, sustainable development. The conference language is English.
Paper Submission Deadline: April 09, 2023
Notification of paper acceptance/rejection: May 03, 2023 by e-mail to the corresponding author.
Attending this conference is free of charge, providing equal opportunity to debate, share scientific research results, and benefit from constructive feedback from discussants and participants. Only full papers may be submitted in PDF (one PDF where must be indicated the author/s of the paper and other PDF without the author/s of the paper) by April 09, 2023. Papers for conference FI BA 2023 should be submitted to fiba@fin.ase.ro.
For INFER Special Session, full papers may be submitted to the session organizer, Prof. Andreea Stoian, PhD (andreea.stoian@fin.ase.ro ). Authors are allowed to submit only one paper to this special session.
The submissions to the conference FI BA 2023 are limited to two papers per participant. All submitted papers will be peer reviewed according to a high-quality and fast referee process. Authors will be notified whether their paper is accepted for presentation no later than May 03, 2023. Papers accepted for the conference will be discussed and we expect participants to act as a discussant for the
paper assigned.
