XIX Workshop on Economic Integration

XIX Workshop on Economic Integration, organized by the INTECO joint research unit in Economic Integration, to be held at the
University Jaume I on the 24th and 25th of November 2022, Castelló de la Plana, Spain.

In this edition, our invited keynote speaker will be Yoto Yotov (Drexel University and Ifo Institute). In addition, we will also have a round-table on “The economic effects of Ukraine’s invasion” with the participation of Javier J. Pérez from Banco de España and Luis Pinheiro from Caixabank Research.

The workshop will have an in-person format, although we could move it to hybrid if the sanitary conditions require it.

Analogously to previous years, the workshop will consist of presenting working papers in the field of economic integration, both real (international trade) and financial (international finance). Participants will have 20 minutes to present their works, and then a discussant will open the general discussion by asking a couple of questions. Presenters/discussants of accepted papers will be covered one hotel night plus social meals.
