The 26th INFER Annual Conference will be jointly organized by the Technical University of Crete (School of Production Engineering and Management) and the Harokopio University of Athens (Department of Economics and Sustainable Development). There will be special parallel sessions on economic integration along the program. This event provides an opportunity for those interested in any level of Applied Economics issues. From individual business or industrial zones to national, international or global policies that will make feasible the effective application of circular economy principles for achieving a Sustainable Development. Researchers, practitioners and entrepreneurs are invited to submit both empirical and theoretical papers that are broadly consistent in any of the Conference’s special topics. Only full papers may be submitted for the INFER Annual Conference (this applies to both general sessions and special sessions). The event will only take place in person (maximum of two presentations per person). Speakers will not be able to present remotely. Only full papers in English (by the 15th of March, 2024 using Easy Chair platform) may be submitted for the INFER Annual Conference (this applies to both general sessions and special sessions). Although it is not obligatory, you are encouraged to conform to use our template for submissions/manuscripts. All submitted papers will be peer reviewed according to a high-quality and fast referee process. To submit your full paper, please follow these steps: 1. Special issues
We would like to remind that the Annual Conference offers publication opportunities. In particular, the authors of high-quality research papers will be invited to submit them to special issues (SI) in the journals: Macroeconomic Dynamics, Eastern European Economics and Journal of Applied Economics.
