Call for Papers INFER Special Session

The INFER Special Session provides a great opportunity for members and non-members of INFER alike to exchange ideas and to discuss results from recent economic research. Therefore, the aim of this special session during the FI BA 2024 conference is to bring together scholars, researchers, policy makers who share the same interests in finding answers and providing solutions to current challenges.
The special session is open to contributions from all areas of economics. We welcome both empirical and theoretical papers related to the following non-exhaustive list of topics: Banking and Finance, Bounded Rationality in Economics and Finance, Commodities and Financial Markets, Economic Asymmetries, Energy Economics and Policy, Environmental Economics, Empirical Economics, Experimental Economics, Financial advancements and economic integration, Financial flows and geopolitical risks, Firms green
transition, Fiscal Policy and Public Finance, Housing Economics, Monetary policy and financial markets uncertainty, Public Policy and Economic Inequality. Sustainable Development.

INFER Special Session Paper Submission Procedure

Full papers may be submitted to the INFER special session organizer, Prof. Andreea Stoian, PhD (andreea.stoian@fin.ase.ro ) by April 21, 2024. Authors are allowed to submit only one paper to this special session. All submitted papers will be peer reviewed according to a high-quality and fast referee process. Authors will be notified whether their paper is accepted for presentation at the special session not later than April 30, 2024. Special session presenters are expected to discuss the papers during the session. The assignment of discussants will be made by the conference organizers at a later date.
The authors accepted at the INFER Special Session are also invited to submit their papers to special issues in: Journal of Applied Economics and Eastern European Economics.

Papers must be in English and must include a cover page with the following information:
– An abstract of up to 500 words, with JEL classification and no more than 5 keywords
– Authors’ full name and affiliation
– Contact details for corresponding (e-mail)

Important dates

– Deadline for paper submission: April 21, 2024
-Deadline for notification of paper acceptance: April 30, 2024
